Step 1: Try Simple Example Interaction gHello Roboth

Letfs start the first interaction with your robot.

1. Create a new file

First, click on the New button on the toolbar.

An empty dialog box should appear. Please type Step1.dlgxml in the File name box and save it in where you like.

Next, a dialog box named Global Settings appears that lets you choose the speech recognizer, text to speech engine and robot interface. Please choose the appropriate values and click OK.

The Step1.dlgsml has an already made interaction, gHello Roboth and gHello Userh for you. This interaction is already given the name gDialogh and it appears in the Dialogue Name box.

Click either With Cable or With Bluetooth and try speaking to your microphone gHello roboth. Your robot should reply gHello Userh.

Listening Window will come up and show how your speech is recognized.

Step 1: Exercise
Try giving a name to your robot, and make it call your name.

Then next, you will create speech interactions by yourself. Go to Step2 .
