Overview
This is an overview of the functionality of GoTalk.
First time your open GoTalk, you will see a large, empty space under the Tool Bar.
You will see this screen below after clicking the New button in the Tool Bar,
located in the upper left corner of the screen.
1. Toolbar
The toolbar located on the top of the GoTalk screen contains buttons for the most often
used commands of GoTalk. It is explained in more detail below.
2. Question Box
The question box lists questions that the robot may ask you.
It also lets you create new questions or delete unwanted questions.

.
3. Variable Box
The variable box lists variables that are used in your program.
The variable box is identical in functionality to the box in the Lego Mindstorm software
(shown below) that you can access by clicking the Edit menu and then selecting the
Define Variables item. It is explained in more detail in
Step 4
.
4.Equation Box
The Equation box lets you associate variable value assignments with your speech.

.
5. Command Box
The Command box lets you define the commands that are sent from
GoTalk to the robot to perform a physical action.
It also lets you define sensor conditions if you would like Robot to react to sensor input.

Toolbar
This is an overview of the functionality of the toolbar
1. File Commands
The file commands consist of 4 buttons, New, Open, Close and Save.
The New button is used when you want to create a new dialog and the Open button is
for opening dialog you have created. The Close is to close the currently working program.
Click the Save button when you want to save your works.

2. Dialog Commands
The commands let you create, duplicate and delete dialogs.
It is explained in more detail in
Step 3
.
3. Dialog List
The dialog list shows a list of dialogs that have been created by clicking the
'New Dialog' button to its left. You can make as much as dialog you want.
You can use the arrow buttons to scroll down if not all dialogs that you created
fit in the small space.
4. Robot Connection Commands
The robot connection commands let you connect to your robot to test the dialog.
You can use a USB cable or a Bluetooth connection, depending on your preference.
